About School

WELCOME TO THE HAPPY LEARNING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!

Origin of the School

Education is a very complex and challenging task. It must bring out the best in the child by harmonious development of his body, mind, and soul. An educational institution is a sacred temple providing its budding stars such opportunities as may enable them to blossom at zenith. It was this noble idea mixed with a sense of philanthropy that inspired Prof. Gurdev Sahai, Sh. Tarsem Aggarwal, FCA & Sh. Vinod Bansal to start the school on 1st January 1980 in a rented building and later the school was handed over to the Managing Committee, St. Manu's Convent School, Shahkot. In 1988, the school was shifted to the new building on the Moga Road where it stands majestically today in the lap of a lush green environment. The school is spread over a campus of about 5 acres. The school was initially affiliated to PSEB Mohali and later the management got it affiliated to CBSE in April 2009. Now the school has been upgraded to Senior Secondary Level in April 2016 with the permission to start +1 classes in ARTS and COMMERCE streams. The school owns a fleet of 11 brand new buses facilitating transportation of students from surrounding villages. The school has a splendid double story building with an excellent infrastructure and sports facilities for Volley Ball, Hand Ball, Basket Ball, Badminton and 200 meters running track. The school is having Smart Classrooms and English Labs,  computer lab and all another science labs. The whole school is under surveillance of CCTV cameras for security reasons to monitor the activities going on in the campus.
